Personal Value is not the material things you own, the career path you hold or the reputations people give you.  You are not a better person because you drive a Benz over a Toyota, you are not a better person because you are a CEO over a clerk and you are not a better person because of what other people think.

I am human.  I am 100% certain I will work hard to accumulate more things and a better career path for the rest of my life.  But, I hope I can always remember that my material things and career successful simply make me more satisfied with myself so that I can be a better person.  Being a better person involves being kind, helpful, gracious, understanding, forgiving, compassionate and appreciative of another person as to make that person a little happier.

I believe personal value is attached to the happiness you are able to give to others and the satisfaction you are able to find in yourself.

However, like I said, I am human.  I still want to show off...if someone tells me I'm smart, I want to be smarter...if someone tells me I'm pretty, I want to be stunning, if someone tells me I'm doing a good job, I want to be excellent.  But, I hope that one day I will learn to be satisfied.  And, I hope that I never lose sight of my love for others and continue to try to make others just little bit happier one day at a time.
